Chart dimensions after update

Hi all

Having an embedded Excel chart in Word that has manual updates, why does the
size of the chart maintain the original dimensions of the excel chart rather
than the lesser size of the chart in Word, therefore messing up the layout of
the document

If anyone can advise - your help would be greatly appreciated

Sorted it out - Perhaps i should of said, it was a difference between
versions of office - I re-inserted the charts and it worked first time.

Once it was re-inserted and resized, i updated the charts and they remained
the smaller size and didnt throw the page layout out again.

Thanks anyway
