Chart Drill Down

My users have asked me if I can do the following on an existing Access
application:

Display a bar chart on a form where the user can click on one of the bars to
display more information for that category of data.

To me this sounds like a feature from a third party add-in. Is this so or
is there a way to do this using Access alone?

I saw an example of something similar to this while browsing the internet.

Earlier today I did more research and found that you could do this using
chart events in Excel.

I'll check out that site too.
