So long as both sets of data use the same x-values (dates) you can create an XY scatter chart as he said, and at some point select one of the series (click on the points or line) , select "format selected series," and somewhere in the dialog box click on the Secondary Axis box. When it comes to a chart w/ two different types of display, it gets messier.
