chart in access

Hi,
I'm trying to insert a chart in a report in MS Access.
I have a simple table like this:
studentnumber:1(long integer)-studentname:a(text)
studentnumber:2-studentname:b
studentnumber:3-studentname:c
studentnumber:4-studentname:d
When i create a report, i click on the Chart icon on the toolbar, and then
when Chart Wizard asks me which fields contain the data i want in the chart,i
chose "Studentnumber and studentname" from the "Available fields" , then
chose the bar chart type ..However, when i finish, the chart appears so
weird, it has files which i never declared before like: North, West, East
(Y-Axis) and 0-50-100 (X-Axis) and the legends are 4th Qtr, 3 Qtr ,2nd Qtr,
1st Qtr.. They look like the default chart to me when Access cannot draw the
chart from the provided data...Did i do anything wrong here? I have tried
many ways, but still got the same result. I just want to have a chart like:
X-Axis:Student number (1,2,3)
Y-Axis: STudentname (a,b,c)

Please help, i stucked here for days and i need to do this chart to complete
the report ASAP.

Have you got a load of different students with the same number then as if
there is only one student with the number 1 and 1 student with the number 2
etc then no chart can be drawn and wizards just doing it's best to create one
from nothing for a chart you need to have values that are seperate/different
eg the number of students studying maths, the number of students with the
number 1. If you have student paul with a value of 1 and student jane with a
value of 2 etc the chart will just look like steps, do not use the wizard
just pick a standard chart. If you are between the ages of 3 and 7 you may
get away with displaying this type of data on a chart if you are not try and
pick some values with a little more substance to them.
