Chart in InfoPath

I have read the article Using InfoPath as a Reporting Solution by Mr Larry W
Jordan Jr, focusing on the section Charting, to no avail. It is my hope that
someone can explain how to use charting in InfoPath in a more novice-friendly
way.

What I want to do is have an InfoPath form from a Data Connection to an SQL
database where, upon choosing the "Chart View," one will see a simple bar
chart reflecting data from the SQL database.

Can anyone help?
