Chart in Report

Hi All! Thanking anyone for a reply. A2003.

I have a 3D split Pie chart with titles & percentages for each category in
my report.

When I view the chart some of the titles are too close together and
overwrite each other.

When I go into design to move the titles about, those title positions are
not as they are in when viewing it normally. Also the data in design view is
not the same as in normal view.
Looks like older data from my query.

Is there a work around for these problems?

Peter,
This is an old bug in charting. Your data behind the chart may change, but in "Design"
mode, it always shows some "old" data.

Go to the query behind the chart, and run it. While the query results are displayed,
select all the data (Ctrl-A), and Copy it (Ctrl-Insert).
Close the query and return to the chart design mode.
Paste the data into the spreadsheet associated with the chart (Shft-Insert).

That will force the chart (a kick in the head!) to show the latest data in design mode.
