Chart on Access 2007, can't format data table results. Why?

Access challenged

Created a chart based on a report, and have the data table showing, I can get
the numbers on the table to format, I have standard (no decimals) and
percentage. Where do i go, what do I do? Have formated the table, the query,
the report ... everything shows up formated, but not the data table on the
chart.
