Chart question

I am trying to plot columns 2 thru 5 against column 1 to get four lines of
data but I always seem to get all columns against the row number. Where am
I going wrong?

Bob -

Put series names above the four Y columns, and leave the X column header
blank. Select the entire range and make your chart. The blank cell helps
Excel parse your data.

Series 1 Series 2 Series 3 Series 4
X1 Y11 Y21 Y31 Y41
X2 Y12 Y22 Y32 Y42
etc.
