Chart synchronized with data base

Hi, I'm working with Visio Professional 2007.

I have an organizational chart in a SQL Server database, and I want to
draw it in Visio format.
Besides, I want to synchronize the Visio file with the SQL Server
database.

There, I have two questions:
1) How can I link SQLServer with visio, which structure requires
Visio.
2) If I get it, how can I refresh the visio file, with the changes
I'll do in database

A lot of thanks!!!

Hi, Yes, I try the option Import data from Excel, SQL Server,
SharePoint sites, and other external
sources, but I don't know the required format to define the relation
between departments, areas, employees.

There, importing a text file, I know the format, but it's rigid, and I
need to refresh the data.

Can you help me?

Something to consider when linking between shapes and data is that the field
names (columns in source and custom properties in the shape) have to be the
same. The linking process doesn't care about their ordinal sequence within
the record.
