Charting data from a hidden column

Hello!

I created a chart from calculated cells in a column. Since I don't really
want to see the column, I tried to hide it.... but then the pie chart in my
chart disappeared! I tried to reduce the col width to zero and the same
thing happened. Is there any way to chart data from a hidden colum?
