Charting Equations in Excel

Sean

I have Office 2000 and am wondering if it is possible to
chart an equation. I know I can create charts if I supply
datapoints or use equations to find datapoints, but I want
to simply write an equation, and have the results charted
on an X-Y plane. Much like the old plotting calculator...

Thanks for your help.

In both MacXL (which is what this newsgroup deals with) and WinXL,
charting can only be done on series of data points.
