Charting one cell against another

B

byrdx

is there a way to create a graph that takes a cell (cell A)
with a formula in it that refers to another cell (cellB)
and gives you a graph of how cell A varies as the value
of cell B changes?

Put some values for B in cells B1:B10, and put the A formula into
A1:A10. Make the chart using A1:B10.

If you want to show A as the dependent variable (Y), you should actually
put it to the right of the B data (X) in the worksheet. Excel can plot
them the other way, of course, but it's much more work to define the
chart ranges that way.
