How do I create a mixed bar and line chart? I.e., I want to represent certain data in a bar chart and I then I want to depict a line graph above the bars representing something else.

As long as the scales are the same, you can create it as a bar chart to begin with, then select the specific data series that you want to change into a line, and right click to get to "change series chart type".

Cool thanks -- any way to do it when scales aren't the same? I.e., one is units in 000's and other is %

Once you change the column to a line chart type, if you format the data series and click on the Axis menu, select Secondary Axis.
