Charts do not display all of data in data table

I am trying to make several different types of graphs in PowerPoint 2007. I
need to make bar charts and pie charts. When I enter the data powerpoint
stops displaying the data after four values are entered. For example, in a
pie chart I have about 10 categories of data, all of which add up to 100%.
When I enter the data in the excel spreadsheet, it will only diplay the first
four categories and ignores the rest. I have tried moving the display area
boundary in excel, have re-entered the data on multiple charts, saved it as
..pptx file, etc. but nothing seems to help. I get the same problem with the
bar charts - they only display four different categories of data despite
having six in the datasheet. I cannot find anything about this in any of the
Powerpoint books that I have.

If you right-click the chart and choose Edit Data and then move the blue
edge of the data range indicator, does that do the trick?

You might also see if clicking the "Select Data" button on the Chart Tools
Design tab of the ribbon helps -- it opens a dialog where you can specify
the range of each data series. I made a little Jing thing that may help
explain what I mean. http://screencast.com/t/SPjO0Lgt3D

Also, if the "switch row/column" button is available on Chart Tools Design
tab of the ribbon, click that. It's possible the row/colum got switched at
some point and needs to be switched back.

Thank you very much. Your second suggestion did the trick. I had moved the
blue edge and no change but when I went in and used the select data button to
change the display range all the data came up.
