Charts: Formatting: Lookup values

I have a chart that pulls the data from a table [SIP Details]. Using a pie
chart I'm showing the different status. The values on [SIP Details] are only
the reference number of the [Status] i.e. 1,2,3,4 and the actual status name
is on the [STATUS] table. Looking at the table [SIP Details] it shows the
actual status name since there is a lookup on the field, however on the pie
chart the status stown are 1,2,3,4.

This is the same as what happens on a report but on a report I just create
another field and do a lookup, but I can't seem to do that on a chart?

That's one of the reasons why many of us won't ever use lookup fields

The solution is to add the [STATUS] table in your chart's Row Source query.

BTW: Thanks for bracketing your table and field names. This little effort on
your part makes helping you much easier. I wish every poster would do the
same.
