Charts in Excel

Is it possible when using graphs in Excel 2000, to keep the title
static at a specific size.
I have a lot of graphs on a sheet and find that when I move the graph
or resize it - I seem to lose the heading behind the graph or it seems
to increase in size. I would like to tie it down so it will not
change.

Many thanks and kind regards

Hi,
I hope so, although I have only 2004 version here so cannot check it. In
that version it's here:
Evoke the context menu (CTRL+mouse click) and then>format chart
area>font>and uncheck the auto scale

Just checked in XL 2000 on VPC7 & the dialog is exactly as described. It
should do what you want, and can be applied to just the Title Placeholder or
most other items independently of one another... IOW, you don't have to
apply it to the whole Chart Area. You can also get into the appropriate
Format dialog if you dbl-clk the item.
