Charts on a report

I have made chart from a query and have it on a report in the detail field.
The chart seems to repeat itself a few times with the same data. Instead of
having one chart per record I have 3 or 4 all with the same data. So how can
I get only one chart per record?

Getting a chart to update per-record, per-page, or even per-report-instance
has been a problem since they updated the chart engine in Office 97. The
problem is that the report processes faster than the chart updates and the
report doesn't "wait for" the chart.

There is a Microsoft Knowledge Base article that offers a couple of fixes,
but I have had very spotty results with them. If you search their site you
should be able to find it. One fix uses code to refresh the chart in the
format event of the report section. As I said though, I tried this on a few
reports and it makes the problem happen a bit less often, but does not
eliminate it.
