Check Box Feilds

Pam

I am trying to create a form with "clickable" boxes. I
have tried using the control toolbox and it will populate,
however when you close the document and open it again the
check box will not work. I am open to using anything that
will let the user choose the appropriate box. Any ideas??

Thank you

The cause of what you're seeing could be that macro security
is set to "High". The control toolbox controls all have a
"VBA stub" that triggers macro security.

There are form fields, on the Forms toolbar, but these
require the document to be protected as a form.

Then there's the approach Microsoft uses in its FAX
templates, substituting AutoText entries with checked and
unchecked symbols. This requires macros, however, which
wouldn't help you if macro security is a problem.

I have had the same problem. The only way I found was to
make sure when you re-open the document (each time!),
click off the "design mode", then the boxes work.
