Check Box Form Field / Text Form Field / PROTECT FORM

Word 2007
I created a form with regular text and for input TEXT FORM FIELD.
In addition I used some CHECK BOX FORM FIELDs.
So far all's ok.
Now I PROTECT FORM with Restrictions: "Filling in forms"
I can now input TEXT field until I click on one CHECK BOX...then TEXT fields
don't let me input anything anymore unless I UNPROTECT the form.
Help...

I can't seem to reproduce what you are describing. Just to be sure: you are
referring to the legacy form fields (available also in earlier versions of
Word)?
