Check box

I am trying to add a check box to a drawing. I'm not very familiar with
Visio for this... well... not at all. I know check boxes from Access and
Excel. Is it possible to add a check box to Visio that when checked actually
has a check there. I'm not looking for anything else right now, just trying
to make a checklist. If so, how?

Thanks so much in advance for help.

Thank you for such a quick response. How do I "exit developer mode" in order
to check and uncheck the box? ... I apologize for such basic questions...

thanks

I usually have the developer tool bar showing, and the button is on there.

I can add the check box, but I'm stuck with how to check and uncheck it.
when a scroll the mouse over it I'm still in an "edit" mode...
hope that explains better and thanks for the help

Hi Al, beware of "Design Mode" and "Developer Mode".
"Design Mode" is controlled from the Design Mode icon on the Developer
toolbar.
"Developer Mode" is set from the Advanced tab on menu Tools ->
Options.
I think it's Design Mode that is required here.

We've been speaking English for years over here, still haven't got it
correct ;-)

Thanks for all the help... seems the English I needed was to set macro
security level to Medium instead of High. All is working well now.

Thanks
