check boxes

I have created checkboxes for a form. By default they have a layered look. Is
there any way to adjust the properties so that I have just a plain box?

Hi,

Can you provide some additional detail? The reason I ask is when I create a
new, blank form and simply place a checkbox on the form - to me, it appears
flat. So I am not sure what you mean by a "layered" look.

Thanks!

Hi David,

Thank you for the clarification. I have extracted the files that comprise
an XSN and was unable to find a way to modify the appearance of the check
box control.

I am sorry that I could provide you with better information.

Best Regards,

Scott,
I appreciate it really. If it can't be done I can go back to my boss and
tell him. The we either go with InfoPath or choose a different form.

There is a setting in IP Options/Design to disable/enable the automatic
label creation for new fields.
