'Check Name' Error...

B

Brian C.

I have a Outlook 2000 client that I cannot set up a new
profile on. When I key the MS Exchange Server Name, User
Name, and click Check Name I get the following error -

The name could not be resolved. The server containing
the Global Address List is no longer available. You can
reconnect to a different server by restarting Outlook or
retry the operation when the server is reachable.

Win2K DCs and Exchange 2K are running fine. Any ideas?

Try uninstalling TCP/IP and then reinstalling it.
