Check Names Feature - can I turn it off?

Is there any way to stop Outlook XP from auto checking an address? We want to stop users from typing an address and the using Auto Check to look the address up. Ideally, we want to force all users to use the "To:..." button

You can use a group policy to disable both "automatic name checking" or
autoresolution and the autocomplete feature in Outlook 2002. You'll find it
in the Outlook administrative template under Microsoft Outlook 2002 / Tools
| Options / Preferences / E-mail options / Advanced E-mail options / When
sending a message.
