I have a number of checkboxes on my webpage to select the value for donation
at the top of the page and to select the account for the donation. How can I
make it so only one box for each can be selected at one time? you can view

Yvit,
Create a Group box. Place Option buttons (instead of check boxes).

To make sure that at least one option is selected, double-click on one of
the Option buttons, then check Validate... In the dialog box that opens,
place a check in Data Required check box. Place the text that you want to
appear when an option button is not checked.

Change the checkbox to radio. All radios have same field name. The other
is a separate text field.

Read up on HTMl coding for radio boxes. Even if you use FP, you still
need to know a little HTML coding.
