checking activation keys on office 2007 home & student

have purchased office 2007 from someone -- want to make sure that I get the
full 3 uses of the Home and Student Version but have all ready loaded the
this on the one PC I have at home -- when my son attends college in the fall
-- I will purchase new PC for him and load 2nd key on his PC. Then I would
like to have 3rd copy for future use -- how do I know if I have 0, 1 or 2
activation keys left on this product key?? I did get it loaded on my new PC
but did I get the full activation keys or just 1?

You can't tell. You'll find out when you go to activate it and you find your
only option is telephone activation.

You find out when and if product activation fails. Then you call the phone
number and tell them what happened. If they believe you then you are
granted another activation. If you bought the product as a private sale and
the seller really and truly stopped using the product then you should have
no problems.
