I am using Access 2003 and Excel 2003
I have two Access databases (DB1 and DB2) and one Excel worksheet (WK1) in
the same folder. Each of the databases has a table with the same name (TBL1)
with the same data in each table, (ie one database is a copy of the other).
In the Excel worksheet there is a pivot table to extract the data from the
table within one of these databases. My question is:
1. How is it possible to discover the path and particularly the database
name and table the pivot table in the Excel worksheet is connected/linking to?
And...
2. Is there a way to change the link to the other database without
reconstructing the pivot table?
- I thought the answers may be in the pivot table/chart wizard, but I cannot
see it.
