Checking Forms

Sorry about the blitz in questions, im a begginer so plese bare with me. When
you make a form and a user fills it out, how do i check the forms?

What do you mean by "Check the Form"?

You have to choices:

1. Have the data sent to any email address. Your web host must have the FP extensions and have
configured the extensions to process email.

2. Have the data written to a file, the default location is the _private folder on the live/remote
server. Your web host must have the FP extensions. You then have to open the site and check as
needed.

Without the FrontPage extensions you will need to find or write a server
side script using PHP or Perl to process the form. Some Unix servers
may also support ASP. formmail.pl is a candidate for the Perl option.
