In a new job, the office uses outlook for email, calendars, etc. They
tell me I should be able to check my email from any internet explorer
web-browser. I have OSX on my ibook at home and Internet Explorer 5.2
but when I try to log on it does not let me. says incorrect password
or log in . I can log in using the web access on my husband's PC at
home though.
any suggestions?? the IT person seems to have no idea...

When you log in are you prefacing your user name with your company's
doman name? It should be in the form of:

User Name: domainName\userName
Password: password

Hope this helps! bill

unfortunately, that doesn't work either. the instructions they gave me
didn't say to do that but i tried, no luck. do you think it sounds
like a problem with their server settings?
the other mac user in the office also says she can't access her email
at home.

I'd suspect this may be security settings on the server. Do you have a
Mac at work that you can test with while on the same network as the
server? Being able to show your administrator would go a long way to
helping him troubleshoot your connection problem.
