Checking spelling in the Reviewing Pane

Is there any way to get spell checking to work in the reviewing pane? I use
comments extensively, and without spellcheck I tend to sound like an idiot.

By default, Word should spellcheck comments as well. Are you sure that the
correct language is applied?
