Checking timesheet report completion

In project web access, I would like to create a report for all team members' task assignments which should have work hours or % complete reported but have not
I tried resource tab -> view resource assignments and filtering for % complete < 100% and Start < current date, but I still have deleted tasks showing
Any suggestions on how to filter out the deleted tasks? The status indicator is the only field displaying that information in web access that I can find, and there is no filter for it
