Chemdraw Missing Atom Labels

C

Clark Landis

Powerpoint files that we created on a PC with embedded Chemdraw graphics
do not have atom labels when opened with Powerpoint on a Mac. I have
installed all Office updates (through 10.1.5) and it still causes problems.
Other workarounds posted on the ChemDraw web sites don't work.

Microsoft has acknowledged the problem. Does anyone have a patch or
workaround that really works.

Hi,

If you want to send a sample presentation to me I can see how it looks in
PowerPoint 2004 and let you know whether or not it's been improved.

Generally if you ungroup then regroup a graphic on the PC, it either works well
on PPT Mac, or blows up even on the PC. The fact that it blows up is pretty
nearly always an indicator that it won't work on Mac (or print reliably from
either platform, for that matter).
