chessofPS2003 updates on planner not notifying resource

PS 2003 is not sending updates as they are changed in the schedule
like they should be. The only other way to publish the updates would
be to publish every task starting from day 1 on the schedule which
would become confusing to the staff. This I am trying to avoid.
Hightlighting the work/resources only seems to work part of the time.
Shouldn't it update the resource if time or resource has changed?

Karen: In each project on the tools options dialog, in the colabration tab,
you can select what is a change. By default the value is set to "Start,
Finish, % Complete and outline level changes". You can set it to any change.
Just changing a resource may or may not make the assignement publish due to
a change. My preferance is to set it to any change.
