Chinese Input Method Editor & Office 2003/Win 2000 Server

Hello,

I am running Win 2K Server and have installed Office 2003.
As my wife is Chinese, she periodically types letters in
Chinese, at least when we had Office XP on a Win 2K
machine. We are now unable to use the input method editor,
despite it showing the Chinese in the language bar.

Does anyone know what to do about this issue?
