When I discovered that my .hlp files don't work properly under Vista, I
invested in a .chm authoring program and re-did my help file. Now I can't
get it to work.
I used the AutoKeys{F1} instructions from Microsoft Knowledge Base Q271390
and set up the HelpEntry() and Show_Help() code. However when I run the
application form, there is no response to the F1 key.
I have turned the form's Key Preview to YES and set On Key Down to both
AutoKeys and AutoKeys.{F1}. I set a stop on the HelpEntry function and
related Show_Help function and neither is triggered, so I assume they are not
being called when the F1 is pressed.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to make a chm file work with Access
2002 under Vista?
