Choose a value from the score range

I try to enlarge the array from an AVERAGE calculation. However whatever I do
I get the error message: Choose a value from the score range!
I searched the net but cannot find anything on this specific error message.
Can anyone help me out?

Ahum,

just had a brainwave that triggered me. Data validation was setup upon that
particular cell. Cleared it and it works again.
Regards.
