This question concerns the Choose Attachment window opened when an attachment is added to an e-mail

When I create a new e-mail and add an attachment, Entourage defaults to the last folder from the previous e-mail that was sent with an attachment.

Is there a setting to have Entourage always default to the same folder when any e-mail with an attachment is created?

I'm not exactly sure what you are describing.

When I select to Add Attachment, a Finder window opens. Is this what you are
describing or are you talking about Entourage folders. Please be specific.

Thanks for the reply. I knew this would be tricky to explain but here goes.

In Entourage I crate a new e-mail message
I click on the paper clip icon to add an attachment.
A window opens with the heading "Choose Attachment", below is what I guess is what you called a finder window.
The dropdown list defaults to the last folder I selected an attachment from (in the last message I sent).

I am not talking about Entourage folders.

I hope this makes it easier to understand.

I don't believe you can change this.

A reasonable approximation would be to put the folder you want to choose
most often into the Finder's sidebar. Then it will appear on the side of the
Finder window when you choose an attachment. Just click on it on the
sidebar.

Hope this helps.
