Choose folder dialogue box

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Over the last week, I've lost the ability to save new documents in subfolders. I can save them to the desktop or in one of the four folders I saved items in most recently. I have no problem choosing subfolders when I use the Command-O feature. How do I get the ability to choose subfolders back?

Hi Kathy -

There is a square button with a triangular icon just to the right of the
file name field - click it to expand the Save As dialog window.
