Hi Everyone,
I've been asked to find a way so that a project manager create a new
project, and in a custom field choose a person belonging to a
specified group (called task manager) who will receive the task
updates from the resources.
i know that the status manager is the person that receive the tasks
updates, but this field cannot be set by the project manager, unless
the member of the 'task manager' group open the project, and assign
himself as the status manager; in my situation members of task manager
group do not have Project Professional, so i need to find other way...
is there a way to set the status manager, catching some server side
events (like project published, publishing or something like that) or
by developing some macro or dll client side?
any help will be very appreciated
tanks in advance
