Choosing bullet style fatal

When I click on the Format menu and go to Bullets and
Numbering, then select a certain bullet style, I get a
dialog that says something like "Microsoft Word has caused
and error and will close", with Send and Don't Send
buttons at the bottom. Anyone know why this would happen?
