"chunk" error message?

M

Mark

I successfully sync'd Entourage with my new Tungsten T5 for about a
week then started getting the following problem Monday:
1. I installed Missing Sync in order to sync Avantgo and a few apps
downloaded into T5. When sysni'ing the T5 everything went fine except
the Entourage calendar did NOTHING. Looked at the sync log and
"datebook did nothing" was all it said AND started getting the
following error message that forced an immediate reset or T5 locked up
and had to do a hard reset.:
PIMsFataMgr.c,Line:135,checkRecordChunk means chunk is null...

I have been in email correspondance with palmOne and they went thru the
usual check your conduit settings response. I did look and noted that
the Entourage conduit is missing.
2. I have downloaded the Handheld Sync Installer file from the MS
Entourage website. When I try to install the app I get this error msg:
The installation failed because Microsoft Component Plugin was not
found.

So I am looking for help with the Handheld Sync installer hoping that
if I get the Entourage conduit reinstalled everything will be back to
normal AND can anyone address the "chunk" error message. I am really
concerned this is a hardware problem in disguise.
Thanks in advance
Mark
