Circular Relationships

I've inherited yet another bastardized Project file! This time when I open
the file I get a mesage each time informing me that there is a circular
reference problem (sample message below). Each time I resolve a circular
reference, I save the file & close out. Upon re-opening, I'm greeted with yet
another CR problem...it's a never-ending cycle.

All suggestions or ideas appreciated.

No calculations can be performed now.
There is a circular reference in task 569 Labeling of <project file name>.
The successors of this task refer back to the task or its predecessors,
causing a circular reference.
To remove the link that is causing the circular reference, select the two
tasks that are causing the circular link, and then click Unlink Tasks on the
Standard Toolbar.

Hi,
Filter for summary tasks, insert the successors column.
Both predecessor and successors column should be empty.
