Citrix users and date formats

I have users in the UK who use Citrix to access Project Server on a citrix
box located in the US. When these UK users open their plans in Project Pro/PWA
using citrix, all the dates appear in US format (dd/mm/yyyy).
Is there any way to fix this so that the UK users see their plan dates in UK
format (mm/dd/yyyy)?

Hi Mickneil,

Sorry but Project Server does not handle this at all. There is no way that
you can say "for user 1 show date format 1 but for user 2 show date format
2".

We have come accross similar issues with the date format and simply had to
accept that you can only display either one or the other date format

I've had this problem in the past and we resolved it by forcing the date
format of mmm d yyyy or d mmm yyyy. For international projects this is
better anyway in all communications not just Project Server because then
there can be no confusion around what month date is 5/6/06 in?!!!?

Hi Rod,

The date formats you suggested work well in Project Pro but they do not
appear correctly in Project Web Access. For instance, the format 'd mmm yyyy'
appears like this in Project Web Access Views '31 08 2005'.

The months do not appear like Mar, aug, etc.

Any ideas on how to get this to work in Web Access?

Not sure on that. What default format has been setup on the PWA server? Does
changing it help?
