City, State, Zip Line

Angie

I am merging data from EXCEL into word to print labels.
I have separate fields for City, State, & Zip. On some
of the labels they are printing fine, but on some labels
it prints city with several spaces before the ,ST & Zip.
This causes it to print the Zip code on a separate line.
I don't know why it is printing spaces after the city
sometimes, but not always.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably because there are spaces after the City name in some of the
records. Excel has rudimentary Edit>Replace capability that you may be able
to use to remove the superfluous spaces or use a catalog type mailmerge to
get all of the data in a Word table and used the more capable Edit>Replace
features in Word. Then insert a row at the top of the table to hold the
field names and save and use that document as the datasource.
