As I understand it, an Office XP app will check for
problems and if it finds one then the app goes into an
Automated safe Mode to fix the problem. It says if there
is a problem with the AutoCorrect List it will prompt the
user to create a new acl file. It does not do this for me.
I delete the MSO1033.acl file, start Word, if I type
something then a new MSO1033.acl file is created but I am
not promted to do anything. I tried editing the
MSO1033.acl file to corrupt it and it just replaced it
without prompting again. As far as I can tell this is the
correct AutoCorrect list file to delete.
