An electronic source (email, website, Blackboard, etc) would certainly make
your life a lot easier. You could then just print them to OneNote (TabletPC
only for ON 2003) or embedd them into OneNote (OneNote 2007 only). My
professors generally do that. Given that I am in Computer Science, that
might not be too big a surprise though.
If you only have a piece of paper, then you'll have to scan it. With OneNote
2007 you can scan them directly into OneNote.
Unfortunately there is no Tablet PC that has a built-in scanner. More than
once I wished that my tablet display could also work as scanner, and I could
just get a piece of paper like that into my computer...but we are a lot of
years away from that feature.
