Is it possible to configure classic Outlook 365 to have a unified inbox using email accounts from two totally different email providers where one of the email provider's outbound server settings is configured to not authenticate while the other email provider's account is configured to use OAuth2? If so, can you provide me with any details on how to set this up?

To make a long story short, for years I had a single email account configured in Outlook 365 on my PC that had different settings for my inbound and outbound servers. My inbound server settings were configured to use my private email account's POP3 server, while my outbound server settings were configured to use my public email account's SMTP server. With this configuration, I was automatically forwarding all mail from my public email address to my private email account which would appear in Outlook's inbox, but all of my outbound email would be sent using my public account's credentials. This single configuration worked flawlessly until Microsoft started requiring the use of OAuth2 instead of my ID's and Passwords for authentication.

So far, I've been unable to figure out how to set up the classic version of Outlook 365 to have a single Outlook configuration as before, and I've not been able to set up a unified inbox where all outbound email must use my public email account's credentials using OAuth2 while the other accounts set up with no outbound server authentication. I can set up Thunderbird to have one account with different server settings as before, and I've been able to set up other email clients on my Android phone with a unified inbox with only one account authorized to send mail. I'm hoping that I'm just trying to set things up wrong, in Outlook 365 and it's possible to do, but so far I'm getting the impression that you can only have a unified inbox in Outlook 365 using two separate email accounts unless both accounts are Microsoft accounts that use the same SMTP server.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
