Clean install from Visio 2007 Upgrade DVD

I've just purchased a new machine and I'm reinstalling all my s/w onto it and
have run into a problem with Visio 2007. The DVD I have is an upgrade DVD.
I have already installed Office Ultimate 2007 and am now trying to install
the Visio 2007, but since it's an upgrade disk it's looking for a
"qualifying" software from which to upgrade.

I tried pointing it my Office 2007 installation, but it balked at that, and
I tried pointing it to a Visio 2000 CD that I had, but it's not liking either
and the install will not proceed.

What exactly is it looking for (so I can provide it) or is there a way to
get around this problem?

Thanks in advance!!!

office (any variety) doesn't count as an appropriate install for any visio
upgrade. You have to find the original visio install media that qualifies
for an upgrade. Is your v2000 listed among the applicable products? (either
v2000 standard and v2000 professional)?

Originally my Visio 2000 CD was all I needed to do the install however, it
was on my former machine at the time, not from the original CD. I realize
that Office isn't a eligible product, but it said it was looking for "Office"
in the description, so I gave it a try ;)
