Clean Outlook 2007 Install - Transfer 2003 Settings?

Anyone know how to transfer my Outlook 2003 settings from old computer to
Outlook 2007 setting on new computer?

I've been searching for the equivalent to the Office 2003 Save my Settings
Wizard, without any success. It would seem that we're back to having to
manually configure our Office apps, once again. This may be a show-stopper
for me, when considering the move from Office 2003 to 2007, as I often
reinstall my system. Why they would discontinue such a pratical, and
time-saving feature, is beyond me.

It appears this function has been taken out of Office 2007 and inserted into
Vista. I have tried Vista and I am not impressed yet. Lots of driver
problems and still no ActiveSync equivalent. Will not synch with my Ipaq.



I do like Office 2007 and I have some very complicated Office settings in
2003. Does anyone know how to retain settings in Office 2003 so I can do a
clean install of Office 2007 on XP Pro, SP2 without spending days redoing my
settings?



I am rapidly losing confidence in Microsoft's ability to think like a user,
rather than a programmer.

Have you had any success with synch-ing with your iPaq? I sure would hate
to lose that feature. But doesn't Active SYnch ship as a stand alone
product? I think I am using ver 4.2. Are you saying that Vista took over
the Active Synch job?

ActiveSync doesn't work on Vista, according to posts here. Instead, it has
the function built-in.
