Cleaning Outlook Newsgroups

I have cleaned up my subscribed newsgroups on my news
server (deleted the files under options), but i notice
that when i click on the occassional files that i look at
there is still a cache of material i looked at, lets say
4 months ago?? How do you do a total scrub of all
files? This must be eating up space somewhere on my
computer. I'm using XP on my system if this makes a
difference.

I assume you're using Outlook Express as your newsreader (which is part of
Windows, not Office). Look under Tools > Options > Maintenance for clean-up
options.
