Clear recent document list

Dear all,

how do I clear the recent document list in the project gallery in MS
Office 2004 ? I just want to reset it, because for some reason some
documents I open daily do not get listed.

how do I clear the recent document list in the project gallery in MS
Office 2004 ? I just want to reset it, because for some reason some
documents I open daily do not get listed.

They're stored in the

~:Libraryreferences:Microsoft:com.microsoft.Office.prefs.plist

file (where ~ is your home directory).

To clear recent docs, you can either edit that file with Property List
Editor app (you can just delete the File Aliases\MSWD0, File
Aliases\XCEL0, etc. keys) or, with Office apps closed, delete the whole
..plist file.
